    • Overview of key components: satellites, ground stations, user terminals. (types of remotes etc...)
  2. Session 2: Network Architecture and Design
    • Understanding network topologies and communication protocols relevant to sales
Week 3: VSAT System Components
  1. Session 1: Hardware Components
    • Antennas, transceivers, modems, and routers
  2. Session 2: Software and Network Infrastructure
    • Network management systems and protocols
    • Importance of software in VSAT operations
Week 4: Understanding Customer Needs
  1. Session 1: Identifying Customer Requirements questionnaires, and interviews
  2. Session 2: Link Budget Calculations
    • Techniques for gathering customer needs
Week 5: Network designing using link budget Analysis
  1. Session 1: Network sizing
  2. Finalizing products to be used in the network based on budget, parameters and lead time from the vendor
Week 6: Proposal and Presentation Skills
