Course Overview:
The course provides a comprehensive understanding of the principles, technologies, and applications of modern imaging systems. These devices are producing an ever-increasing amount of image data which needs to be stored, transmitted and analyzed. Understanding the functions & components of these devices as well the fundamentals of how these images are produced is critical to the successful design of the many network-based information systems and clouds that attach to these devices.

- Gain knowledge about the components and functioning of key imaging systems
- Learn about the applications of these technologies in healthcare and other fields.
- Develop skills to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging devices.
- Understand safety regulations and best practices when working with imaging systems.
